Don’t Forget to Praise, by Shahnaz Parvin
Few days back, I was visiting my relative’s house along with my nephew, and later we decided to roam around that place with some of my cousins by a river boat. We took some time to rest near Trimohoni river, and when returning back in that evening, I saw this man from the top of the bridge. The boat was colorful, and it was a pleasant scene, but what struck me then was his humbleness to Almighty Allah. He washed his hands and face with menial water because all water around the boat was contaminated. Then he started his prayer and nicely kept himself balanced. In my country Bangladesh, people are poor, but they do know one thing for sure, they know how to adapt the happiness from nature without forgetting to praise who created it. It should be an example for the rest.
